Kiri Te Kanawa    Kiri Te Kanawa – soprano   Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra Olomouc conductor Julian Reynolds   New Zealand soprano Kiri Te Kanawa is most well-known for her performance at the Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer. Apart from that, she performed with the legendary Three Tenors and she still appears as a guest at the Metropolitan Opera. Now she will come, for first time in her fruitful career, to the CzechRepublic. Exsultate, jubilate!   Barbora Perná – soprano Walter Hofbauer – trumpet Ivan Ivanov – violin  Jan Pěruška – violin Czech Chamber Youth Ensemble   conductor Josef Štefan   The musical youth will perform the sacred music concert presenting the pieces by Albinoni, Vivaldi, Bach and Mozart. Soprano Barbora Perná has already appeared as a guest at the Prague National Theatre and Walter Hofbauer, a native of Jihlava, has won great acclaim at international competitions. It will not surprise anybody that the approach of young musicians will be full of hope and joy.   Ticket price: € 10*

Andalusian flamenco   Los Remedios    Morenito de Triana – guitar, vocal, composition  Mateo Gallito – piano, dance, vocal, composition  Cyril Kubiš – violin  Zuzana Fujacová – flute Juraj Paška – violoncello  Dano Godány – cajon, dance   The chamber music group Los Remedios is typical of crossing traditional borders, creating its own style and discovering the new. On the one hand, the group benefits from unique rhythmical pulsation and melodic techniques of flamenco; on the other hand, it enriches its performances with features from other music styles shifting from the traditional perception of flamenco towards the world music.   Ticket price: € 10*

Miro Žbirka Symphonic   Miro Žbirka – vocal Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra Olomouc    conductor Adrián Kokoš   After Prague, Brno, Ostrava and Plzeň, the Peter Dvorský Festival is the next stop of Miro Žbirka’s latest project. The preciousness of the performance is emphasised by the fact that this year “Meky” celebrates his 60th birthday. This concert will be a part of an unusual dramaturgic series of festival concerts that try to connect current popular genre with the sound of a symphonic ensemble.    Ticket price: € 20-36*

Music of Royal Courts   Rožmberská kapela    Erika Reitschmiedová  Štěpán Kaniak Pavel Polášek Daniela Čermáková Tomáš Hála Miloš Horák  artistic leader Mario Mesany    The newly reconstructed building of the Valeč Chateau is an extraordinary place to take a little historic stop. An ensemble, a follow-up to a historical Rožmberk band that used to perform at the Rožbmberk court, will bring you back to the 16th century. The evening spent here offers the possibility of experiencing the authentic music in a period setting.   Ticket price: € 10*

Leonard Bernstein: Mass   X-lab multimedia project presents an outstanding monumental musical oratorio    X-lab design Petr Oháňka, Jindřich Trapl    The end of the festival will be crowned by a monumental masterpiece written by one of the most extraordinary 20th century musical figures; its form, nevertheless, might be quite surprising. The spiritual and artistic impact of Bernstein’s Mass makes its each rendition a unique event. In addition, setting of the piece into the French garden of the Valeč Chateau together with the help of multimedia devices will provide you with an exceptional experience. A replay of the performance will be conceptually connected to further technical effects and the chateau’s baroque architecture.   Ticket price: € 12-20*
