Caspar Richter and Aleš Voráček give guest performances at the National Theatre in Brno in Mozarts Idomeneo. The premiere of Idomeneo took place on 24th November 2006 in Mahen Theatre in Brno.
A leading personality of the new production of Mozarts Idomeneo at the National Theatre in Brno was German conductor Caspar Richter, who regularly cooperates with Brno Philharmonic Orchestra. In this production he appeared in the Brno opera house after 16 years (at the beginning of nineties he was a conductor of another Mozarts production at the National Theatre in Brno Don Giovanni again in cooperation with stage director Václav Věžník). New personality on the stage was Aleš Voráček, young tenor from České Budějovice. His appearance in the main role of Idamantes was one of the most impressive points of this production. Next performances of Idomeneo in this season will be held on 17th December 2006, 16th January and 19th February 2007 in Mahen Theatre in Brno.
